Have problems keeping my taller summer flowers in water?

My gladiolus are finally starting to spike, but they're leaning like crazy after the rain last night. To see whether I could make a support system that does not look ugly, I was ordering some gardening stakes and ties at abodelook. Which do you like best, individual bamboo posts or something of the type of circular grid supports? I would really like to preserve the "classy" appearance of the garden and make them straight.
